Siobhan Creighton has worked as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist since 2003. At Talk About It Counselling, Siobhan offers a safe environment for people young and old to explore any issues from past trauma to present crisis. A member of the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) Siobhan is committed to the Code of Ethics and Practice which ensure standards in counselling/psychotherapy.
Siobhan has an Honours Degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from IICP in Dublin. She is also trained in Couple Counselling. She holds numerous certificates; including Reality Therapy, Relational Intimacy, Sexual Abuse (Rape Crisis Centre), Play Therapy, Working Towards Safer Trauma Therapy, Group Facilitation in the Rutland Centre, (CBT) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution focused brief therapy, Art Therapy, and Mindfulness.
Siobhan Is registered with Towards Healing, an organization set up to fund survivors of child clerical abuse (funding is available for this counselling), and has twelve years experience of counselling, ten years of that was in Oasis Counselling Centre in Ballyfermot, and she is now working from Naas, in Co. Kildare.
